Morrow-Meadows Corporation is in the process of completing a 1/2 megawatt solar photovoltaic system located at The Center for Water Education in Hemet, California. This design-build system installation includes solar photovoltaic modules, inverters, weather station, data collection, and tracking software. The system has two different monitoring systems that track wind speed and direction, the sun intensity, the module temperature, and current and historical power produced by the modules. The system also includes an interactive solar exhibit display that features a 15” touch-screen monitor synchronized with a 42” LCD screen that shall serve as an educational tool to engage the general public and students in the benefits and use of clean renewable energy.

The Center for Water Education is part of an 18-acre campus which includes The Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology. The Water Education Center shall display the history of water and focus on its role in today’s ever changing world. The Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology has been designed to provide world-class facilities for the research,
curation, and presentation of the nearly 1,000,000 specimens discovered during the development of the Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet, California. The campus opened Summer 2006. Morrow-Meadows is proud to be a part of this exciting project.
